It’s been said that the beauty of the Hawaiian islands inspires the heart and mind; the heart to love more deeply, and the mind to think more creatively. The people who venture find themselves refreshed in more ways than one.
American writer Mark Twain learned this first hand.
He said, “I went to Maui to stay a week and remained five. I never spent so pleasant a month before, or bade any place goodbye so regretfully.”
Travel to Hawaii for leisure back in Twain’s day was almost unheard of. It wasn’t until his travel letters were published in the Sacramento Union newspaper in 1866 that American awareness of these beautiful islands started to take shape. And the visitor industry began!
Steve and Janae, like Twain, found a magic on Maui that won’t soon go away.
“We love the variety that Maui has to offer,” Steve said. “From snorkeling to beach hopping to hiking, we love it all! Maui is a place where we can enjoy our time with one another.”
“Oh, and we should say how much we love the food at Three’s Bar & Grill,” Janae said. “And Coconut’s Fish Cafe! We also love trying out new coffee places and we love Akamai Coffee!”
Janae and Steve came to Maui to celebrate their second anniversary, a milestone for any couple. They walk together with a comfort level normally seen in more seasoned relationships, and yet the looks they give each other still contain hints of those newly-wedded honey glows.
“I love the way Steve makes me smile,” Janae said. “He is a very kind and loving husband and always makes time for me.”
“I love the way Janae brings joy and adventure into my life,” said Steve. “We love adventuring together and traveling together! We are so grateful to have found one another to do life with.”
Janae added, “We are so blessed in life and are excited about what the future holds for us!”
